"Poetry is at the heart of everything I create. Each drawing is a reflection of some part of me, past or present. Art was once a tool for survival kept to self. Over time the creative process and finished pieces have become integral within my healing journey. I think in colors, moving shadows, and cartoon scribbles that morph into the words or pictures that will eventually be put on paper. I share these symbols of pain and beauty, digging into myself in hopes someone might realize they aren’t alone in their struggles."

"I am a born and raised New Yorker from Laurelton Queens. I have been drawing from since an early age. It's in my blood. My father was a great artist and it was passed down to me. In high school I started painting and I was ok at it. Unfortunately I put it down for a long time but picked it back up in 2014 at a paint night class and have been painting ever since. I am and have always been an artistic person. I don't limit myself to just painting. I love art of all kinds and to express myself with through my work."
