"I'm a Haitian-American filmmaker and photographer who has always found my work the easiest way to connect to others and communities. However, as I get older it's not so much about creating new connections but finding new challenging ways to express my feelings and thoughts. Where before I left myself out of a lot of my work, I see more of myself filtering into what I shoot and write. My hope is that I continue to show vulnerability in what I do and honestly interrogate the reasoning behind it."
