We Get it Done: Femme Artist Group Exhibition

The time has come and we're finally hosting our first art show!

Please join us to celebrate our many featured femme artists, vendors, and our live performers. Upon arrival we would like to give you a warm welcome by giving each attending guest a small gift bag to show our appreciation for your support. Each ticket will also automatically enter you into a raffle for the selected event date and the winner will chosen for a prize. Friday nights winner has a chance to win a delicious 24-Party Variety Pack Rum Cake set from Althea's Tropical Delights!

Saturday's winner will get a special prize from the Tin Roof Gallery itself . Tickets are limited so most definitely be sure to get your tickets while you can.

Open Call For Women Artists![CLOSED]

With a lot of work, time, and the Tin Roof Gallery's amazing supporters we are happy to announce our first artist's showcase. Thank you everyone who has shown love whether it was literally lending a hand or buying merch to support it's creation. We have finally reached the finish line.

During such turbulent times where everything is even more unpredictable I have watched my femme peers find new and creative ways to keep persevering to share with the world their creativity, talents, the creation of safe spaces for others, and their efforts to incite positive change in this world. Women continue to rise to challenges and in the process discovering power within themselves they may have never realized they had all along. It is nothing short of inspiring. With all that said it felt right that our first in-person exhibition will be We Get it Done: Femme Artist Group Exhibition and our goal is to bring light to femme artists and celebrate them. So we happily invite local femme artists to submit their artwork and give the world a chance to celebrate them. Below is the submission information:

• Location: 106-35 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica, New York 11435

• Participation Fee: $35.00

• Art submission limit: 1-3 art pieces

• Deadline: September 30th, 2021

28 Days of Black Creators

First off Happy Black History Month everyone! 2020 was a disastrous rollercoaster for us all. A rollercoaster we're still on in 2021 unfortunately. But If we come together to support one another we can most certainly thrive even in these conditions.

As a cosplayer the cosplay community has a celebration known 28 Days of Black Cosplay (#28DaysofBlackCosplay) where the community comes together to support each other by sharing and reposting cosplayers other than themselves every day of February. This inspired me to celebrate Black History Month in a similar fashion by sharing todays black creators of various art mediums. As you have probably already guessed I have dubbed this #28DaysofBlackCreators. I hope that you will join me in showing love and support to the black art community whether by sharing your favorite black creators or taking time out to check out the ones shared by TRG.

You can follow along via Instagram and Facebook where everyday of February a different artist will be shared. If you are a black artist most definitely reach out to us with your Instagram/Facebook handle so you can be featured too.
